  • Creek Travel Plaza: Only one exit down from Muskogee Inn, on Interstate 65 at exit 54, sits The Diner inside Creek Travel Plaza. Breakfast, lunch and dinner items are served all day long. Choose the special of the day, soup of the day or try one of the specialty burgers. You will feel like you are in the 1950s in this throwback-style diner. The waitresses are friendly, and your food is served in a fast and timely manner. Shop in the convenience store or fill up your car while you are here, too.   • Poarch Creek Indian Cultural Museum: The Poarch Band of Creek Indians are the only federally recognized Indian tribe in the state of Alabama. For centuries, they have lived together in this community and helped stimulate the economy. Learn about their history by touring this free museum. There is also a gift shop where you can buy souvenirs and memorabilia made by Poarch Creek Tribal members. The Poarch Band of Creek Indians also host their annual Pow Wow celebrations every Thanksgiving, which is open to the public to enjoy.
